Hike to Battle Creek Falls

On the way to the falls there were some mounds of dirt that needed to be climbed...

The lower falls were the perfect place to skip rocks

Curiously, rock skipping gave Brady super human strength and a smile to match

You will notice McKay is already headed up the trail

Lisa imparting some wisdom to Brady, it's fun to see siblings helping each other

Half way there

We found a small cave that smelled like marijuana, so of course everyone wanted to stop and take a look around.

The falls were flowing pretty well for early September.

The kids watched a 7-year old rappel down the face of the waterfall with her Dad. They made it.

McKay found a deadly caterpillar, the fuzzywumpus.

The deadly nature of the caterpillar made Lisa worried, but the boys were just excited.

Brady had a fun ride down the mountain.

Interesting how even when skipping rocks it looks like Lisa is dancing.

More hills to conquer, more help to give

Water break

Proud parental moments.

Choices, choices...

Ryan had fun driving while waiting for the ice cream to be made.

It's fun to feel the fog of liquid nitrogen on your face while freezing the ice cream.

A nice end to our hike.
